| About Youth Owned Records |
As one of the first youth-operated record labels in the country, YOR gives youth the opportunity to record, produce and distribute their original music. In the process of creating CDs you will learn the ins and outs of many aspects of the music industry, so even if youre not a musician, you can become a major player in Ann Arbors thriving music scene. Youth internship opportunities are available.
Mission Statement:
It is the mission of Youth Owned Records to provide high school aged youth the opportunity to record, promote, distribute CDs, and perform their original compositions; to put Ann Arbors youth music scene on the map; to facilitate the learning of skills associated with a career in the music industry.
