As one of the first youth-operated record labels in the country, YOR gives youth the opportunity to record, produce and distribute their original music. In the process of creating CDs you will learn the ins and outs of many aspects of the music industry, so even if youre not a musician, you can become a major player in Ann Arbors thriving music scene. Youth internship opportunities are available.
Mission Statement: It is the mission of Youth Owned Records to provide high school aged youth the opportunity to record, promote, distribute CDs, and perform their original compositions; to put Ann Arbors youth music scene on the map; to facilitate the learning of skills associated with a career in the music industry.

We finally did it! We have put together a kick-ass MUSIC VIDEO for the song "Sold my Soul!" Don't want to talk to much about it but we will be showing it on a 12ft viewing screen on Thursday May 14 @ 9pm and performing (2) Sets.
This event will be filmed by DetroitMusic.TV and we are featured in the Real Detroit and Metro-Times this week (released on May 13).
