Suicide is the second leading cause of death for young people between 15 and 24 years old in New Hampshire. Many more youth attempt suicide each year. In every case, families, friends and whole communities are affected.
The Youth Suicide Prevention Assembly is dedicated to reducing the occurrence of suicide and suicidal behaviors among New Hampshire’s youth between 10 and 24 years old. We will accomplish this by providing communities with current information regarding best practices in prevention, intervention, and postvention strategies and by promoting youth safety in our communities and organizations.
