| About You've Been Lied To (debut album) |
You've Been Lied To have been destroying audiences and venues in the UK
and abroad for the last three years. Since their EP release in 2005 the band
have taken shape and grown into the extreme metal outfit they are today.
Imagine five experienced musicians brought up on a diet of
Red Chord, Will Haven, Unsane, Norma Jean to name but a few,
thrown in with extreme Japanese Cat 3 Horror, only then can you
imagine the thinking behind You've Been Lied To.
Having already embarked on tours across the country and beyond with the
likes of: 3 Inches Of Blood, Raging Speedhorn, SikTh, Dry Kill Logic, Murder One,
Architects, Bring Me The Horizon, The Red Chord, Shels, Skindred and Napalm Death,
You've Been Lied have finally been released from the studio to unleash
the full impact of their sound like a size 12 boot to your face.
Now to officially mark 2007 open for business, You've Been Lied To have
released an unrelenting, brutal and totally focused debut album,
'End Of The Social Contract' available from indie label Manmade Records.
You've Been Lied to would like to meet bands in a similar style, bands who aren't,
promoters, venues large and small, and most of all the fans that our energy comes from.
