About me:
The Mission Statement of Yow Dance is;
To create, cultivate and promote modern and contemporary dance performances of exceptional quality and relevance.
To enhance exposure of modern dance to the Central Florida youth by creating and performing accessible, expressive dance programs in various educational settings.
To provide compelling repertoire by renowned international choreographers in order to foster, maintain and expand audiences locally and throughout the nation.
Yow Dance has several educational programs that help to support this mission. A variety of classes, lecture-demonstrations, and interactive workshops are available as part of the company’s efforts to integrate communities into the dance-making and performing process. Dance reminds us that rigorous work, dedication, and optimism create powerful results. Dance is a terrific metaphor for the potential of human achievement.
