Bill Downing: Bass & Vocals | | Influences | Eric & Bill have both been listening to music since they was little babies! Eric can remember listening to Chuck Berry on the radio when he was 2 and living in Chicago. At the time it sounded very modern. Erics parents were avid record collectors at the time of stereo's birth! Bill discovered his parents hidden record treasures at the age of 10 with likes of the Beatle's Revolver. At the time it was like discovering the dead sea scrolls wrapped in a magical treasure chest! Woo Hoo! I think both Eric & Bill have always sought to keep the good & amazing aspects of music while eliminating the bad (ie: contemporary kuntry)!!! This leaves them with a grab bag of ever expanding ideas to pull from. Eric & Bill will sometimes venture out and aquire new music from bands they enjoy, if they rock hard enough. And dont suck. Other influences include Albert Einstien, J. Edgar Hoover (know thy enemy), Tribbles, SCTV, Global Warming (Toasty), YO-YO's, the force, cyborgs, cavemen, decent home cooking, Dracula, Son of Dracula, Abbott & Costello Meet Dracula, Blackula, Count Chockula, Count Floyd, Pink Floyd, Pink, Pink Skirts, Short Skirts, Short Attention Spans, .... uh, what else ... I'll be back in a second. .... If you've got this far the how about this, no beer and no tv make Homer go crazy! How do you like my new book?
