Y-Rock On XPN has Local Bands Play in studio and record there performances, not only are the bands able to play and be interviewed LIVE on the program, but the performances are recorded so that the songs will be heard on the Y-Rock Philly Local for years to come.

*THE LOST SESSION*
The RAREBIRDS came in to the studio to record a Local Tracks session with us, but unfortunately we suffered from severe technical difficulties in the studio that night.
The sessions did air live on the air, but due to some technical glitches the recording came out terrible, with lots of unexplained feedback, and halfway through the session, the computer just stopped recording.
Needless to say we were very annoyed with the loss of this session. Although, some of the recordings were salvaged and are kept in the vaults of The Y-Rock Philly Local, the songs from the session were never played on air, and the session was lost never to be heard again.
We hope that someday we can get the Rarebirds back in studio to make up for this mistake and record a true Y-Rock Local Tracks Session with this great band, but until then they will go down in rock history as the lost session of the Y-Rock Local Tracks
