    .. .. .... .. YSKELGROTH is a project band formed in February 2007 by Dave Rotten (AVULSED/ CHRIST DENIED/ PUTREVORE) and Vicente J. (GOLGOTHA/ UNWOM) with the aim of creating a dark, unholy and primitive kind of Black Metal blending some old school Death Metal elements to it. Although the idea of this band comes back from '99, it wasn't until '07 when finally started to take form and finally recordings started to be made in early '07... .. After having serious problems to find a proper drummer, it wasn't until summer '08 when Javier Fernández "Nexus 6", mastermind behind the progressive Black Metal band NEXUS 6 and also bass player in THE HERETIC, joined on drums. With his help, YSKELGROTH finished 3songs between July & October '08 for the debut demo of the band entitled "Primitive Promo 2008" which can be downloaded for free by ..clicking here ···>>>.... .. The band continued working on the 7 songs that Vicente J. already wrote for YSKELGROTH's debut album "Unholy Primitive Nihilism" and they were developed with a more complex and original approach thanx to the addition of some killer lead guitar an synth arrangements made by Nexus 6. With all this, the sound of YSKELGROTH developed incredibly compared to their previous demo. The album was completed in January 2009... .. In November '08, the band already took part in the SPAIN KILLS compilation with the song "Blackest of Blackness" taken from the "Primitive Promo 2008". This song is a more raw and primitive version than the one that latter appears on the album. .. .. In summer 2009, YSKELGROTH agreeded the release of their debut album through a polish label, but due to many delays in their release scheduling, In February 2010 the band decided not to wait any longer and look for another label who could release it earlier. US label REGIMENTAL Rec. shown immediate interest in releasing YSKELGROTH's debut album and this way "Unholy Primitive Nihilism" was released in May 1st, 2010 and this one stands as one of the most infernal Black/ Death Metal releases ever to come out from the Spanish scene!!.. .. YSKELGROTH is a project band formed in February 2007 by Dave Rotten (AVULSED/ CHRIST DENIED/ PUTREVORE) and Vicente J.
