You simply cannot deny Yt. From his unique swagger, to his electric stage presence, it's no wonder that word is starting to build about the next big thing to come out of Tallahassee, Florida. Born and bred in the sunshine state's capitol, Yt, first made his name with a number of limited release underground mix tapes with native producers Big Griff and Faba.

He moved thousands of units of these CDs from the truck bed of his GMC before catching the ear of Tallahassee hero, T-Pain, while opening for him at a concert in 2006. Later in the same year, Yt would leave his home in Florida for Auburn University in Alabama. It didn't take long before he became a staple on the campus concert scene, as he teamed up with Nick Suddath, with his popular game day anthem "Auburn Boys".

Yt capitalized on his new found regional success, performing shows across the south east and opening for acts such as Young Joc, Chingy, Rich Boy, the Nappy Roots, Pastor Troy, The Nappy Headz, and The Ying Yang Twins, among others. As his name grew along with his talents, Yt became a frequent target for collaborations and has featured on songs and albums from King Rod, Mike Bane, Lifeline, Star, D Scales, and producer Ricky Drake. In 2008, Yt released his first album, Audacity (which is available for purchase on iTunes). Featuring regional sensations like the infectious "We Ridin" and the epically storied "Invincible", Audacity cemented Yt's status as an emcee to watch out for years to come.

Graduating from Auburn this August, in only 3 years, Yt is now back in Tallahassee attending graduate classes at Florida State University while recording new material and actively performing throughout the south east in preparation for a national tour and sophomore album release in 2010. The sky seems to be the limit for this young rapper, as it is truly a matter of "when" and not "if" he goes global.
