Yuki:o a.k.a Yukio Kanai was born 1977 in Sapporo, Japan.
At the age of 20, he first started organizing parties in his hometown Sapporo. In 2002 he started composing own tracks and established, together with his friends, their own label Nordform which is based in Sapporo and also in Tokyo (http://nordform.org/). He then organized with the local art magazine named Shift the "Dotsoso", a party in Sapporo which took place once a month and where he used to play together with artists like Mixmaster Morris, Jonah Sharp and Waki (http://www.shift.jp.org/). In 2003 he also had a gig at the club named Zuck at the Artfestival Gigei in Singapore. Two of his tracks were released on the Nordform 2004 compilation cd. In the same year, he threw a party called Cafetronik where he played together with Jeff Milligan, Deadbeat and others (http://www.cafetronik.com/). In 2005, he moved to Cologne, Germany to experience the German techno sound. In 2006 he teamed up with Takeshi and formed the duo named Decadan. In 2007, he played live at the Dublin Electronic Arts Festival. This year, he will be coming up with new suprising releases and gigs.In 2008, he moved to Sihanoukville, Cambodia to experience minima sound cafe Ecodia at beach!
