I was born in Sapporo, Japan and started learning piano at the age of 5. Since then, the friendship between the piano and me has lasted till today. Happy days, gloomy days, come rain or come shine, there has always been a piano beside me and I've shared all my joys and sorrows with it. I love this delicate and dynamic, gentle and powerful instrument which sets my soul free.
Since settling in Bristol in 2001, I have been spreading my music in the UK - Glastonbury Festival, WOMAD, Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival - as well as many local events including Ashton Court Festival, St Werburgh's Festival, Future of the Blues Festival and Bath Fringe Festival.
