| About yuko |
Born in New York and raised in London, Tokyo and Yokohama, yuko has performed as a singer in jazz venues. She picked up the ukulele during her trip to Hawaii and instantly fell in love with the instrument. Now she writes her own songs and performs solo with her ukulele. Her unique voice blends perfectly with the pure sound of ukulele. Many of her audiences find her music relaxing and healing. Her first CD "Seasons of Dreams" includes 5 of her original songs and her version of Danny Boy.
ニューヨーク生まれ、ロンドン・東京・横浜育ち。ジャズ・ポップスシンガーとして活動後、ハワイ旅行の際にウクレレと出会い、弾き語りを始める。優しい歌声をウクレレのピュアな音色にのせた表現が魅力。2007年11月にはホノルルでライブを行い、好評を博す。2008年5月発売のＣＤ"Seasons of Dreams"では、ソングライターとしての才能も存分に発揮されている。
