WHAT IS VEGANISM?
Veganism is a compassionate way of living that excludes all forms of cruelty to animals. A Vegan can be referred to as a pure vegetarian because they exclude dairy products, eggs and honey from their diet. Meat, fish, poultry, eggs, animal milks, honey, and the derivatives of all of these are replaced with plant based products, such as fruit and vegetables, pulses, seeds and nuts. Further lifestyle changes are made by excluding other animal products. Veganism was never intended to be merely a diet, it is a reverence for life.
Most people choose to become Vegan for the reasons of preventing the suffering of animals. Other reasons include health benefits, concern for the environment and spirituality. When people choose to become Vegan they make a commitment to bettering themselves and the world around them. Veganism is the path of honouring ourselves, our planet and all life.

We became vegetarian in 2000 and then about six months later we went vegan. This was a natural progression from awakening to the depth of love that we feel in our heart and could no longer partake of the vibration of eating meat or any animal products. Once we explored the reality of the production of meat and dairy it became totally definite that we would only ever eat vegan food. We love animals.

NOT INCLUDED IN OUR RECIPES:
Sugar: We don't eat sugar at all, it is known to be the most toxic and addictive drug on the market.
Garlic: Is known to poison brain cells and keeps people in the lower realms of consciousness.
Wheat flour: Difficult for the body to digest. Please note that some of our ingredients do contain gluten e.g. Nutmeat
Tofu: Tofu is a wonderful food in moderation and because there are so many other vegan recipe books with Tofu recipes, we did not include any.
Mix well all ingredients
together and shape approximately one heaped tablespoon of mixture into a
patty shape. Sprinkle a plate with a little besan flour and roll patty in
flour lightly.
Cover the bottom of a frying
pan with some coconut oil and place patty in pan. Repeat using up all the
patty mixture. Add more besan flour to roll in as you go if necessary.
Fry patties until golden and
crispy on each side.
* Coconut oil is a highly
nutritious oil and discussed in detail in our book, but for now make sure
you only use organic unbleached food grade coconut oil in your cooking.

Thank you for the wonderful comment. I will be visiting you often. I'm always looking for ways to slowly convert my twin 9 year olds from their father's carnivorous ways. The one is super picky!
