About me:
Improv comedy has become an international phenomenon! Our chefs pride themselves in using the freshest exotic and comedic ingredients, creating wild scenes about far-off imaginary places. With an exquisite blend of experience and backgrounds, we promise a fine improv experience to our customers. Do not be fooled by imitators! There are many Yum Yum Bangkoks, but only one that performs at the Magnet Theater!
Jess Lane
Jess discovered improv comedy while performing with Fruit Paunch at Columbia University. She’s performed with featured Magnet shows the Comic Book and Your Code Name is Jonah. Jess has produced Channel 102 pilots Teen Homicide and The John and Jess Variety Hour.
Michael Short
Michael Short, the newest member of Yum Yum Bangkok, has studied improv with the Cleveland charter of the Second City and in New York with the Magnet Theater. He got his start performing shortform in college with the SUNY Fredonia Improv Society. He has appeared in improv shows Sunny-Side Up, and The Comic Book & Art Bomb.
Matt Koff
Matt Koff is a writer/performer originally from Westchester, NY. His comedy video shorts can be seen at http://www.youtube.com/sunshinedonut
Leanne Linsky
Aside from the Magnet Theater, Leanne has also trained at the Las Vegas Second City. IO Chicago and at UCB NY & LA. You may have seen her in The Sandbox Association, Pajama Party, Busker, We’re Just Sleeping Together, Commando and Alan Chen’s Improv Productions. She also co-created and co-hosts Casual Sketch at the Magnet Theater with Mark Grenier.
Rob Morrison
Say hello to folk-rock troubadour, busker, and all around nice fella, Rob Morrison. Not just a gifted comedian, Rob is also a skilled guitarist and musical saw player (or sawyer). When not playing in subway stations across New York, Rob is writing about it in his award-winning blog, www.nyorbusk.blogspot.com.
Mike Yoder
