Bio Eric micheal barnes was born a lyrical mastermind on april 2, 1989. Not yet knowing his calling 2 be involved in the hottest columbus group of all time, IMC. Founded by flex the ceo of the group. but his career didn't start there. Eric picked up the pen at a young age going through numerous rap names but making the decision to stick with yungg truph. All throughout middle school he had several freinds he would right songs with. After doin his classwork him and his freinds would go 1 at a time by writing a verse and passing it to the next person all on one sheet of paper. This got him pretty prepared by helping him evolve strongly lyrically and finding his own swagg and style. Rapping with his brother yungg soja also in imc, at a young age before joining started there own group which truph thought should be called yungg presidentz. Beating on walls at home making beats a rapping like no other. Then he came up wit the name of there first album, lyrically wanted 4 murder vol.1. Which he already had been workin on with soja everyday over the phone a year b4 getting in the studio. At the age of 15 wit such a strong desire 2 be one of the best artist known 2 man he finally was able 2 record in the studio. Remembering the first song he ever recorded with flex called bring it back.
