Yurko Koretniuk Project is young Ukrainian band (Kyiv, Ua) that creates its own experimental noise music, mixes loops of other musicians to create new combination of unknown sounds, combining them with vocals and distortion sound.
It consists of ::
Yurko Koretniuk (music, lyrics, vocals)
Sopkina Juliet (dj-ing)
Yurko's started his career on September'06 in a musical Kyiv project named «The Opened Two» by cooperating closely with the band and writing lyrics for them. EP-release I Loved The Wind has been the first child of that effective cooperation. Exactly there the magical number 133 had first appeared.
The inspiration came unexpectedly. Taught from Placebo and Bjork, Yurko kept on writing lyrics. His first attempts in playing/creating music he'd made in Fruity Loops (May'07), deeply inspired by NimB, Zavoloka and 2sleepy. At that period was released Yurkos EP Empty, which seemed to sound like a really weird and noisy thing.
