Y electrifies thousands of english hipsters at TRUCK FEST 9 held July 22, 2006 in Oxfordshire, U.K. Backed by members of the host band Goldrush, rock anthems "Gypsy Trails" and "Tab From Rehab" had the crowds lighters high in the air. A red hot residence in July at THE WINDMILL in Brixton,London along with a classic hall of fame caliber sweat-a-thon bash at THE CELLAR in Oxford root the legend of Y deeper into the buzz over seas.

AMOEBA MUSIC in Hollywood, California hand picks Y to be their HOME GROWN ARTIST of the month in December 2005 after his 3rd full length release entitled 'ME'. The cd features new collaborations with Joseph Arthur, the critically acclaimed singer/songwriter discovered by Peter Gabriel. Slippy and Juliette Lewis also contribute their talents to the disc.

Radio station INDIE 103.1 in L.A./O.C. debuts 'MARS' and 'U ROCK' back to back after Y opens up for Juliette and the Licks at the sold-out Troubadour on Nov. 20, 2005.

Y rocks the spring of 2005 on the road across the United States opening for Joseph Arthur. The tour kicked off at The Troubadour in Los Angeles and culminated at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City, when Y walked the red carpet at Robert De Niro's 2005 Tribecca Film Festival in New York City where his song "Lake Eerie" was placed in the jaw dropping feature documentary MODIFY.

It all began in the year 2001 where Y landed acoustic one man shows all over Los Angeles which led to the formation of a Silver Lake super group headed by Y. All in favor elected to call the bands name Y. Hence,Y is the man, and Y is the band. Hollywood shows at famed venues like The Troubadour, Spaceland, The Whisky A Go-Go, The Viper Room, The Derby and other clubs propelled Y on to the international scene. With the help of band mate Jason Womack aka Slippy, a Mississippi born mulit-instrumentalist and now bass player of Juliette and the Licks, Y began recording and releasing music to all the fans demands.
