Guillaume Eyango, Brenda Della Valle, Sébastien Demeaux, Joël Glombard, Laurent Maur, Camélia Ben Naceur, Antony Breyer, Roger Biwandu, Michael Manring
Carbonne started music when he was 7 years old, studying classical piano. He has been playing electric bass and upright bass since the age of 13. He was initially self taught. Later, he took some private lessons from Alain Caron and Dominique Di Piazza.
As a pioneer in electric bass development, he's the first and currently the only bassist who is playing 10 & 12 string fretless sub-basses. These models, Legend X and Legend XII, were built by Jerzy Drozd. The 12 uses a new LaBella B string tuned at 15,4 hertzs!
"A Life", the new album by Yves Carbonne, will be released in December 2009.
In addition to the talented vocalist Guillaume Eyango (featured on Carbonne's premiere album “Seven Waves”), "A Life" also includes a very special guest appearance by the legendary Marcus Miller. "A Life" is a true masterpiece of composition and instrumental exploration, and is a must-have for all music lovers regardless of genre.

Yves has many friends here, so he decided to make some little changes to
his Top from time to time. If you don't see yourself on this list,
please don't take it personally - you'll be back soon! Thanks to
all the people who have put Yves on their Top! And a special thanks
to those who have one of his songs or videos in their profile.

Helllloooo Yves! I just remembered that you are in France! My sisters and I are in Rome now after we spent 3 days in Paris! My first time in Europe! Are you close to Paris? We went to that Miles Davis exhibit and it was amazing!!! They even have a bass that Marcus Miller played with Miles! Hope you go!
Have a good week!
P.S. When does your CD come out? Will it be available on itunes?
Hi there Yves.....I have put some New pics up of the latest rehearsal during the last week of October.... Check 'em out, they may give you a smile or two eh. I am also moving towards hitting 40,000 plays, so please have a quick listen if you get a moment, as I am putting up all New tracks once that target is reached. Peace, Respect and Happiness always, from ya BISCUIT.
Whats up Yves! Just checking to see how things are, hope you had a fun Halloween this weekend. Seven Waves is an album I can't stop listening to bro haha, I got it in the mail last week. Just wanted to ask because I noticed that Guillaume's lyrics are religious or have spiritual meaning and he is also in a gospel group, are you religious as well?
The album cover for A Life is pretty awesome looking dude. The imagery is pretty sick, I like the present-future imagery and how the future has an apocalyptic look to it.
I've just uploaded a couple of new solo bass demo tracks, "Lullaby" a tune I recorded with my Spector fretted bass and "Soulmates" a new rough demo recorded with my Zon Hyperbass. I hope you will get to check them out and tell me what you think :)
Hello Yves, Juste stopping by to say hello and listening to your stellarissimo music . I hope you are well . Have a great Halloween WE . My best, Amitiés Alexis
