I enjoy seeing action movies and spending time with my kids. | | Music | I love all kinds of music, including Christian, Country, R&B, Rock, etc. Not every song of course. My sister said something about a song called Honkey tonk badonkadonk. Um...no...I don't think so. That sounds too crazy. | | Movies | X-Men, The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, Spiderman, Transformers. Ok, let me make this shorter. I'm all about action, action, action. Then there's sci-fi, kung-fu, romantic comedy, etc. | | Television | I love House, Bones, Ugly Betty, Psych, Heroes, Chuck, Journey Man, Pushing Daisies, Monk, Naruto. | | Books | I may be majoring in English, but I hate the literary works we have to learn about. About me:
I'm Yvette, the owner of Amira Press, a small press publishing company. But this isn't my official publishing site. That can be found at www.amirapress.com and the myspace page is www.myspace.com/amirapress.
This page is my personal page about me and my writing. If something's out of date, I apologize because running a company takes your time almost 24/7, but it's worth it to have your own.
My writing includes The Better Man, a contemporary romance, The Vampire's Surge, an interracial vampire romance and Seth's Promise, an interracial werewolf romance. Actually both TVS and SP include vampires and werewolves. And they include the same small town/city and same characters. I am working on the third in this series, which I am not going to mention too much about because I'm only a 1/3 of the way through and I'm not happy with it yet. :) I've also written several other works under pen names which I keep separate just so I can let down my hair and be whoever I want to be.
