Yvi is born in 1984 in NRW, Germany.
In the year 2000 she gets her first electric guitar from her parents and
starts to take guitar lessons by various teachers.
At the end of the year she joins the rock and funk band "GEE" in which she still sings, works as songwriter and plays the leadguitar.
In 2003 Yvi joins a cover band called "Jazz-Rock-Ensemble" with which she plays many city and open air festivals.
From 2003 until 2005 she is the guitar player of "Melange", a jazz, funk and fusion band.
Together with this quintet Yvi plays different musicals and theatrical performances.
In 2005 she becomes acquainted with the singer and songwriter "Yannic Guenther" and plays some gigs with the "Yannic Guenther band".
The young musician also starts giving guitar lessons.
In 2006 Yannic and Yvi play some unplugged gigs, actually as supporting act for "Foolsgarden" ("Lemon Tree").
They also recorded Yannic's debut album "Supernova" at the recording studio of "Volker Hinkel" ("Foolsgarden's" guitar player and producer).
Yvi gets her own column called "Yvi's Diary" on the website of "Rockakademie OWL".
In 2007 Yvi is voted newcomer of the month by "Rockakademie OWL".
In June "GEE" release their debut album "Pure".
Yvi joins the hip hop musical "Bessere Welt", which is telecasted on WDR and broadcasted on 1Live.
Yvi tours OWL and even gigs in Hamburg and Berlin are already planned.
She also starts working as studio musician for different artists, for example "Mungo Jerry" ("In The Summertime") and "Uschi Nerke" ("Beatclub").
In February 2008 Yvi plays together with "Culcha Candela" at "Bundesvision Songcontest" ("Stefan Raab") which is telecasted on "Pro 7".
She also starts playing unplugged with "GEE", which sounds a bit like "The Boss Hoss" in Latin America.
Because Yvi also likes pop-rock music, especially this of the 80s, she decides to start her solo project simply called "Yvi Wylde".
The songwriting works so good together, that the project becomes a band and is renamed simply to "Wylde".
In August the young musician joins the band "Burnaventura" and plays among other things at the big and famous theme park "Heidepark Soltau" and festivals together with "Marquess" and "Nevio".
In September Yvi's great playing is mentioned by an endorsement deal by "G&L" guitars, which was founded by "Leo Fender".
On 20th December "GEE" release their first unplugged album called "City Of Feelings".
The song "Long Lives The R'n'R" is taken for an image film of "Oetkerhalle" Bielefeld.
In January 2009 "GEE" becomes newcomer on NDR 2, one of Germany's biggest radio stations. They win with 82%.
Yvi also takes her first step into the model business.
She models for "Comet Coma", a German rock clothing distribution, from now on.
In March she becomes endorser of the famous "Rotosound" strings. Other endorsers are for example "Walter Trout", "Jaco Pastorius" & "Billy Sheehan".
Like "Peter Maffay", she is also endorser for "RICHTER" guitar straps.
In September Yvi reaches together with "GEE" the quarterfinal of "Dieter Bohlen's Das Supertalent".
