what's good homey and happy holidays. hey, i will getting some equipment to try and bolster my music production. i'm starting small, so what kind of equipment would work? is computer/program based equipment equal to mpc or drum machine? i like Fruity Loops but can i do better? i want to get a good keyboard, one that could probably sample and be a midi controller (look at me sounding like i know music. lol), any suggestions?
i put a new track on the site called Serenity that's cool to me. i know the drums sound mechanical but i was fussing over the correct BPM for the longest. the way the sample ends tapers so it had me going between 77, 78 and 79 for a grip of time - think i settled at 78. as i do more stuff i will be getting critiques from cats i know will be honest with me and help an amateur like your boy. lol. stay up and be encouraged in Christ

The Track was more than just a song for me it was suppose to be A Progression piece that I was going to continue as the relationship progressed and we got married and all that Jazz.
Truth is...Where the words fade out.... There Are no more words even written.
Ive had Hundreds of requests to put up or out the FULL VERSION of BUTTERFLIES and There isnt one.
I Thought about just going in and picking it up where I left off, but
1.) My Voice wouldnt match up 2.) I was in a really, really good place in my life and in my heart when I wrote and recorded that. 3.) The Relationship ended, just recently and it wasnt something I wanted or saw coming. So the chances of me writing anything on the topic of butterflies at this time, wouldnt be right.
However, if you do wanna follow the real life progression of where I am at. Listen to "YOU" by Q-tip, because honestly duke, its like he quantum leaped into my body the last few months and wrote about it, because that song explains ish to a (T)...
I will Continue Butterflies tho Z, that I promise, its just gotta pick up when Im in that mode again...
I dont write to just have songs, I write to express. So it would be the wrong ending to a light hearted feel good song.
