ENGLISH VERSION
In the year 2006,10 musicians and 2 effect technicians who were working at different musical and artistic projects formed “Zabriskie Point – a Pink Floyd tribute band”- Their aim was to evoke emotions and feelings such as the ones experienced in the 1994 Pink Floyd’s show : P. U.L.S. E. By the use of appropriate and highly detailed lights, videos, sounds effects, instruments they create the unique and unmistakable atmosphere that all the Pink Floyd fans all well know and long for. All this also thanks to Salvo Lo Vecchio, one of the best sound technician in Italy.
The show goes on for over two hours performing: Shine on you crazy diamond, Learning to fly, On the turning away, Sorrow, High hopes, Dogs of war, Hey you, In the flesh, Another brick in the wall part II, “The Dark side of the moon” (entire album), One of this days, Astronomy domine, Wish you were here, Comfortably numb, Run like hell. Gli “Zabriskie Point – Pink Floyd tribute band”, nascono nel 2006 da un gruppo di 10 musicisti e 2 tecnici impegnati in diverse attività musicali ed artistiche. L’obiettivo è quello di avvicinarsi a quelle suggestioni ed emozioni che i Pink Floyd hanno trasmesso con il P.U.L.S.E. del 1994. Attraverso i propri strumenti, un lightshow all’altezza, le videoproiezioni ed un service audio curato sapientemente dal fonico Salvo Lo Vecchio, gli Zabriskie Point riescono a ricreare quella magia Floydiana coinvolgente e spettacolare che gli amanti dei Pink e non solo apprezzano e aspettano.
Il tributo presenta oltre due ore dei brani più significativi tra la grandissima produzione dei Pink Floyd.
La scaletta classica prevede: 1’ Parte: Shine on you crazy diamond, Learning to fly, On the turning away, Sorrow, High hopes, Dogs of war, Hey you, In the flesh, Another brick in the wall part II. 2’ Parte: L’album completo “The Dark side of the moon”. 3’ Parte: Wish you were here, Comfortably numb e Run like hell.
