  • Bio

Zabumba! has it roots in the carnival rhythms of Brazil and New Orleans. It all started when a few guys got together to play samba for New Orleans Mardi Gras about 10 years ago. Moved from New Orleans to Asheville, Zabumba! is a new and exciting community based drum group. We play the rhythms of Mocidade of Rio de Janeiro and Olodum of Bahia just to name a couple. The group's director is Allen Frost who has studied samba both in Brazil and with Jorge Alabe' and Casa Samba of New Orleans. ............ ....Myspace Layouts.. at Pimp-My-Profile.com / ..Mountains.. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ....
