Zona Alterazione Corpo nelle sue varie incarnazioni – nomadi o stabili - è lo studio di piercing più vecchio in italia.
Ho iniziato a forare nel '92-'93 a San Francisco sotto la guida di Erica Skadsen – www.organicjewelry.com – e dall'inverno del '93 a collaborare con vari studi di tatuaggio in Italia. Sempre lavorando con il mio materiale e nome, come ospite on the road.
nel '96 ho aperto la prima sede stabile di Zona Alterazione Corpo a Bologna, in cui si faceva solo piercing, scar, beading; niente tatuaggi.
2002 di nuovo nomade.
Nel 2005 ho riaperto Z.A.C. a Bologna.

Lì abbiamo fatto anche una Sospensione e Fakir show.
Ho iniziato a giocare con i ganci nel '96, cercando di sperimentare la parte rituale e sciamanica di ciò.
La prima performance pubblica è stata alla Tattoo Convention di Riccione del '97 con Angella Barretta e Tota.
da lì ne sono seguite altre più o meno pubblicizzate, prevalentemente in situazioni dai forti richiami tribali o modern primitive. Ovvero in situazioni che provano a fondere il moderno, il cyber con il tribalismo, le nuove tecnologie con antiche conoscenze e consapevolezze.
Una mia sospensione fatta nel 2000,appare nel documentario “Noise prat- in act” di Tekla Taidelli
Non ho solo lavorato. Dal '94-'95 ho fatto anche vari viaggi in oriente per assimilare ed approfondire le radici del piercing, delle cerimonie ad esso collegate -thaipusam ed altre meno conosciute - e vivere la giungla.
La body art non è solo arte e igiene – aspetto essenziale – ma anche tecnica, feeling e sensazioni.
Il compleanno segnato su myspace è quello dello studio. non il mio.

Zona Alterazione Corpo is the oldest piercing professional entity in Italy.
I started learning body piercing in '92-'93 in San Francisco thanks to Erica Skadsen ( www-organicjewelry.com ) who accepted to teach me. On winter '93 I began collaborations with different tattoos shop in Italy as guest on the road. Always using my jewelry and tools.
On '96 I opened my first shop in Bologna. It was just piercing, scarification, beading...
2001 closed the shop and back on the road.
2005 I re-opened Zona Alterazione Corpo in Bologna – this time offerin tattooing as well.

Sometimes I do fakir shows or suspensions. I started to play with hooks in '96. On '97 with ToTa and Angela Barrette we made a performance at the Tatto Convention of Riccione. Since then I made other public fakir shows and suspension. Usually, without much pubblicity and in happenings that try to mix the west, cyber with tribal cultures, technology with ancient consciousness and knowledge.
I didn't only work. In the last 12 years I made different trips to Asia to see rituals connected to body art, feel the roots and live the jungle.
