From three-penny psychedelia to lost highway...
Through a combination of progressive garage rock sound, Crazy Horse attitude and Laplandish lunacy, Zacharius Carls Group has become one of the most interesting bands to emerge from the gloomy but inventive music scene in Northern Finland. During an era when Finnish post-glam-goth bands make it big abroad with melancholic metal, Zacharius Carls Group likes to exorcise their demons with a "dark schlager" tone, a Twin Peaks tone some might say.
Since the new millennium, the group has built up a dedicated following through constant touring and a string of acclaimed records. They are no strangers to Finnish record charts either. Name based on a legendary crazy Swedish priest, this band is ready to win you over with manic expression and fragile beauty.
