| About Zachary Pluer |
|
Music to Zachary Pluer is an outpouring of the soul and listeners are sure to feel the downpour. Raised in a musically driven family deeply rooted in Milwaukee, WI, Zachary's musical background is both rich and eclectic. His vocals are inspired by soul-driven classics, his guitar technique is reminiscent of the melodic tones of James Taylor, and his lyrical wit is as modern and sincere as Ray LaMontagne. While his respective style is hard to pinpoint, audiences are pricked with emotion that is uplifting and thought-provoking.
After years of change and musical experimentation, Zachary stumbled across his place in the musical world with the release of his self-titled/produced EP, "Zachary Pluer" in July of 2007. This 6 song EP displays the versatility of an artist who strives to be illusive. It takes us through a heartbreaking love song "Fire Escape", to a front-porch, knee-slapping rendition of Stevie Wonder's "Superstition", and ends with a throbbing optimism in the midst of a lost world in "Pennies and Dimes". His powerful, yet beautifully subtle music has and will continue to fall on receptive ears, as this truly independent artist's career continues to flourish and grow.
"Zachary Pluer shows tremendous depth as a singer songwriter" -The Metro (Chicago)
