Zacheous 'The Levite' Jackson was born in London, June 15th under the 12 tribe Israelite sign of Levi is of Jamaican Heritage and a member of the JACKSON FAMILY that originate from RED GROUND an area in NEGRIL JAMAICA that have links all over the island from Negril, Hanover, Sheffield, Waterworks, Darliston, Kingston and beyond also the UK and the USA. "Due to my heritage", Jamaica has been instrumental in my upbringing and consciousness the reggae music eena mi blood and did did deh before mi born and I get back home to Jamaica on a regular movement when I can, to catch up on old times and check on family in Negril Red Ground,Darliston, Cornwall district, Spanish Town, Willowdene, Mobay, Ironshore and Whitehouse. Zacheous spent a lot of time around his big brother a native of Kingston, in Harbour View and with cousins in the hills of Darliston (Westmoreland)(Baba Roots territory outa Darliston Square) in the country, where he also got to know his only living grandparent, his grandmother. ..The first band I ever saw live was Fab 5 in Kingston (National Stadium) at Carifesta so many years ago, and attended a Jimmy Cliff return to Kingston concert at Carib theatre. First sound system ever listen to live was Gemini at Skateland. Also met King Yellowman at El Mundo Club, Buff Bay, Jamaica, just up the road from where I use to live with my mum and brother while I was in Jamaica.
Zacheous reached the top 20 charts in Italy with DJ Gusma T's radio broadcast with the track
.'The.Conspiracy'(the b side to Garvey Garvey).holding steady at position 16 beating out(at the
time)big name artist's. and has been featured in the Voice newspaper and other UK local

'I compose and write my own music and lyrics eena mi yard wen
di vibes lick mi.' and put together lyrics from what I see going on around me, and what deh gwaan eena the news but mainly my inspiration comes from YAHWEH the Most High I play by ear and voice the works at a professional studio.
I am a conscious smady that deals strictly with conscious lyrics that feed the mind and uplift the yute. The yute are the future and they need to be educated the right way)
I have no time for non sensical and violent/idiot lyrics or lyrics based on ego and promotion of self!
I man deal with strictly conscious positive lyrics.
There are many reggae singers out there but Zacheous Jackson is an artist that is different in the
sense that he is ORIGINAL writes his own material and is not trying to sound like some other artist ie CLONE or COPY CAT,just to mek a quick dollar and name, he does not flex like that,Zacheous's material is rooted in the spiritual message of Unity/ History/upliftment and conscious lyrics that
highlight the wicked acts by those in power against the poor and oppressed peoples of the world,
a crucial ingredient needed in the reggae music of today
There is a NOT FOR SALE PROMO CD of some of Zacheous's works that went out to over 80 radio
stations in different countries featuring collaborations with talented producers and players of
instruments from the Versionist.com camp.and beyond, ... a collection of conscious music featuring
collaborations from Lackatee, King Sammy,Brizion, Muflon Dub, and Dove Dub Sound System,
Malone, Don fe, Klon
.The promo CD has had great reviews by UK Reggae Guide
http://www.ukreggaeguide.co.uk/index.php?id=224
and also by THE BEAT(USA reggae magazine)
What I dislike most about the music scene are negative lyrics, lyrics which are not uplifting, also
smady weh tek de MOST HIGH fi joke, in other words, people that mention/call on the MOST HIGH
in their works/music etc but do not live by the MOST HIGH in their movements!
Blessed love to one and all. Peace my brothers
and
my sisters. Kind regards Zacheous Jackson. WALK GOOD! Contact:
