"Zach Lipkins is one of those artists who are artists in the word's most true sense. Unsigned, unknown and uncompromising, Zach has impressed me deeply with his unofficially released debut album Air Whales, which was finished last year. When acoustic guitars, banjos, piano and hand battery meets urban beats and modern synthesizers, he makes it all sound so natural. I don't think I have ever heard a better unity of the organic and the artificial.Zach's instrumental trip hop draws elements from many genres, but in his tightly layered soundscapes, it is hard. to snap out of the hypnotica and tell where these tiny fragments might come from. One of the most interesting and potentially talented artists I have encountered for a long time, Zach Lipkins is bound to explore the possibilities further and refine his already perfected organic/artificial aural magic. Like the cover art tree, his music is twisted, artistic and beautiful in the most fascinatingly natural way."

"Frankly I was pulled in within the first 30 seconds of 'Overneath'. What I was drawn into was the naturally electronic sound of the instruments that were added in subtle but effective layers. He adds quick breaks that keep you progressively more intrigued and interested. The music works so well in your headphones, weaving patterns and images in the back of your mind.??If I didn't know any better, I'd think that I was tripping on acid. Wait a tick..."

“While Juggling Cobras” is such a style of track sliding soft and slow into your ears and remind you, that you have been a child once upon a time and how easygoing life can be. This is something all tracks of Zach carry around with themselves. The other 3 come more concretely, up-and-down-tempoid with a lot of breaking behaviour and an armada of heartbreaking melodies, that deep touches you in your innermost being."
hey Zach...I'm really impressed by your work. Fine Tea is amazing...love the percussion...being a drummer myself I enjoy listening to percussion-focused music, and you do an excellent job there...do you do live shows? are you planing to bring your music to the city? anyways congrats, we should collab sometime...peace
Thanks for making contact with me and for the friends request - have added you... :)
Indeed you were right (about whether I would like your music)... have had a listen through all your tracks on your 'Space and I have to say I think they are beautiful crafted (like spider webs) and amazingly expressive yet delicately energetic at the same time.
Looking forward to knowing you more...
