This is my version of how I got here and where I'm going. First and foremost I'm a singer songwriter who loves to make music. I would even venture to say it's the best music you've never heard. But that's just one guys opinion, and well that one guy is me.
Me and my friend Jeff grew up in the small town of Madison, New Jersey where we played in backyards and basements dreaming of one day making music for the whole world to hear. That drive and desire is what inspired us to make our 3rd album "Hometown Heroes". I wanted to go back and revive that simple sound of my past, but write songs that lyrically reflect where I am now in my life. Jeff and I spent the entire summer in the studio writing, recording, and I believe maturing as musicians, and the result was the new album "Hometown Heroes".
With Jeff producing, that sound that we had both always heard in our heads is exactly what we captured. We brought in a lot of cool new musicians to play on this record, and as well worked with a lot of our old friends. We experimented with new instrumentation like trumpets, chimes, timpani, and really created cool arrangements with them. I don't think I have been this excited about a record since I recorded my very first demo. I have that child like feeling of enthusiasm and I can't wait for all of you to hear it.
So that's really it. I grew up, wrote some songs, made some albums, played some shows, then recorded again and here we are. All the best, and hope you enjoy it.
