My musical styles include, but are not limited to: Funk, Rock, Drum and Bass, Tapping/Slapping/Popping, Fingerstyle, Dance, Programming, Metal, Groove; basically, anything that I can feel pocketed in. I have been playing bass since age 12 and playing shows since 13. I began my musical career with several other young texas blues musicians and gigged an average of at least 5 times a month. I was able to cut my teeth at a very young age; as a result, I am very comfortable being on stage. I continued to play in various other rock, blues, and jazz bands throughout my teenage years: Dutch Oven, The Clay McClinton Band, The Drew Webber Band, Richland High Jazz Ensemble, Isaac Armillio, and scores of countless meaningless, yet fun, bands. At the University of North Texas I was able to solidify my musical interests through networking and finding capable musicians, as well as studying a minor amount of jazz.
I formed the band Bullet Ant with an odd cross-section of Dallas musicians to moderate local success. The Bullet Ant track "Closer" was often featured on KDGE 102.1FM and KEGL 97.1FM. Soon, we became a very busy touring regional act; we were main support for many national acts: Ra, Hot Action Cop, Digital Underground, The Union Underground, and we even toured regionally with Saliva.
Most recently, I have been performing with my band Element Eighty. We were signed to Universal Republic and have toured with such acts as: Sevendust, Mudvayne, Ill Nino, Flaw, The Accident Experiment, Buck Cherry, Five Bolt Main, Three Days Grace, and a host of other killer musicians.
I am now playing bass in the killer band SEROSIA . Our disc "The Current State Of Being" is available by clicking the BUY NOW link below. Be sure to check us out, because frankly, we kick total ass.
