Zack Swain Brings a rich musical heritage, one that spans several generations and covers a variety of musical styles, to each performance. A graduate of the Stamps-Baxter school of music, Zack studied under some of Gospel music's finest musicians, teachers, and performers. He also studied piano privately in Greenbrier, Arkansas and Nashville, Tennessee for several years. Beginning at the age of three, Zack quickly began to amaze many friends and family with his unique piano artistry. Zack played an integral part in the music ministries of North Arkansas largest Nazarene church: Greenbrier Church of the Nazarene in Greenbrier, Arkansas. At the age of 11, he was on the full-time music staff of the church, fulfilling responsibilities of principal keyboardist and pianist. At age 15, he made the decision to devote all of his energies toward working in the field of Southern Gospel music.
Zack has shared the stage with many prestigious artists in the gospel music spectrum. Such artists include Allison Durham Speer, Tapestry, The Perrys, The Mercy River Boys, Testify, The Lesters, The Magnificent Melody Boys Quartet, The Talley Trio, Southern Sound, The Toney Brothers, The Martins, Palmetto State quartet, The Dove brothers quartet, Charles Key, Earl Brewer, Henry Slaughter and even the late great Anthony Burger, as well as other soloists and groups in the Arkansas area. Zack's ministry of music has taken him to many churches, arenas, and performance halls all around the United States. Zack has had the honor of playing at the Deep South Regional Quartet Convention, The Bud Magnuss Memorial singing, and the piano roll of honor with many legends and hall of fame pianist, and even on main stage at the grand ole gospel reunion. Even after accomplishing so much in such a short amount of time, he still gives all the credit to God and makes every performance an act of worship.
Zack's most recent undertaking is a ..Heroes.. c.d. recording. After much consideration, Zack has decided to take his heroes and involve them in a c.d. project of piano duets. Such artists are to include Earl Brewer, Andrew Ishee, Stewart Varnado, Mathew Holt, Scott McDowell, Darrell Stewart, Roger Talley, Jeff Stice, and many more. Many say that Zack is the next big thing in gospel music piano players, some even go to the extent of saying he will be the next Anthony Burger. Only time will tell for this young man. Zack..s past projects have been featured in the United States, Europe, and even Iraq, just proving part of Zack..s message that music is an international language of which there are no language barriers.
Zack is also involved in studio work, playing keyboard sessions on recording projects in various Southeastern studios. He has recorded solo piano projects, all of which have been released and distributed through Zack's solo concerts.
Zack has managed to capture the attention and hearts of the gospel music fans all over the world in just a few short years and is quickly rising to be one gospel music's top musicians.
