Heading these villagers was the Zaiachi Ichizoku. Although this clan wasn't gifted with any shinobi skills, their leading ability was enough to encourage the people to have a stand of their own and fight for what they believe in. Although, every ten years, a few chosen children are born with shinobi skills and abilities. Kiomi, along with her two older siblings were, according to their parents, were unfortunate enough to receive the skills and the Kekkei Genkai, disabling them form having a peaceful and normal life. Still the clan tried their best to protect these children from harm's way in order for them to live a happy life. Kiomi as a child had no real problems. With her abilities slowly manifesting, her older siblings helped her progress. Even if they were separated from the majority populace of Yukigakure they were quite happy with how they lived...until that fateful day came. It was late in the night when it happened. Unexpectedly, a band of rogue ninjas attacked the villagers that had separated themselves from the Daimyo's ruling. Of course with hardly any military power backing them up, they were pretty much easier targets rather than the Majority of Yukigakure who had advanced weaponry and armor to help them with their fights. The rogues performed an all out slaughter, burning everything in sight, killing men and children while some raped and killed the women. Unluckily, she saw her mother killed before her very eyes and caught a glimpse of her sister being raped. It was her brother whom saved her from the terrible fate, getting her as far away from that place before he went back. Unfortunately, her brother as well as her father died in battle. From afar, she saw how her home was consumed by a huge fire, being eaten while she still heard the screams of the others. It was traumatic in every sense making her develop Arsonphobia- a fear of fire. ₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪ ♪ After the Incident ♪ ₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪ When she returned to the village after the fire had died down due to the excessive snow that followed the next day, she saw how dead bodies piled like trash covered in the vast white blanket that the snow had made. She didn't even know if anyone else survived, thus thought she had been the only survivor from the unexpected assault. Of course, now, the top priority was to survive, and that was what she was gonna do. Water was scarce since the lakes had frozen up. She had to gather snow and melt it just to have something to drink. She also went back to where the higher population was, at least trying to find food. People had been harsh of course, not even sparing a morsel forcing her into stealing what she had to eat as well. What choice did she have anyway, none. She spent a couple of weeks to a month living like this. With her at least having a keepsake from her clan, which were twin daggers, she had a mode to defend herself, plus she had a kunai with her, although distorted, it was still enough to hurt someone. This also gave her a good reason not to use her daggers. For now, she loved it more than anything else in the world. ₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪ ♪ A New Home ♪ ₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪ In the next few days, she had been prone to stealing more than just food. Sometimes she went as far as stealing clothes and money. It was good that she had knowledge on ninja arts since it made stealing easy. It was then that another fateful day happened. Without any knowledge on who she was actually attempting to steal from, she attacked the man, and evidently failing. She didnt know if it was out of compassion though or just sheer pity that she was taken in by this pale man with golden eyes. Still somehow she was grateful for the gesture. She was given a permanent home, and had learned to develop her ninjutsu under his guidance and training. Otogakure was a splendid place to learn and train that's for sure, and she owed a lot to their Kage for showing her kindness and keeping her alive. ₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪ ♪ Personality and Traits ♪ ₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪ Pretty much, she's a good kid. The only problem with her is her attitude and her tendencies to be defiant. Kiomi was the kind of person to be obedient when she sees things right, but unlike most members of Otogakure, she doesnt completely obey when it goes against her principles. She was often considered as a ninja tool with a mind of her own. This got her in trouble with a lot of people, something that's not very advantageous for her. But she gets by. Although one of the few people she gets along with is Yakushi Kabuto, someone who trained her in basic irou ninjutsu as well as someone who performed experiments on her. Why they got along so much was probably because of her naive nature. She's also the kind who likes to keep to herself from time to time and socializes only when she needs too. Still, from time to time she does showcase a hint of rudeness. When not in her usual mood, she was pretty much a kid at heart and enjoys the simple things in life. Having a taste for travel, she gets out of Otogakure from time to time in order to see the sights, and miraculously...meet different kinds of people. Thus why she also enjoys being a spy more than anything else. During her travels, she also likes to indulge herself with sweets and sake. As well, whenever she goes out, she does her best to stay away from desert areas or anywhere with an intense humidity. She hates the heat and preferably enjoys the cold weather due to the place where she originally hailed from. Although when it couldnt be avoided, she always brings a canteen with her and hopes that her supply of water doesnt run out. She's also a pacifist, thus having no interest in fighting or participating in wars. But of course, as a ninja, it cant be helped. She likes to think more though, and usually comes up with something that has sense, sometimes, she just comes up with something silly. Among her physical traits, one she hates being told the most was that she looked innocent (which was particularly true). It simply makes people believe that she's lying when she says she's a kunoichi; as well, she didnt like being mistaken for a boy (or, in some occasions, a tomboy), but then again being "complimented" as such was common due to how she dresses her self. ₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪ ₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪ █▄█▀█▄█▀█▄█ ♪ Jutsu ♪ ▀█▄█▀█▄█▀█▄█▀█▄█▀█ E-rank: Academy Level Jutsu Bunshin no Jutsu - an academy type jutsu which allows the user to produce a replica of one's self. Type: Supplimentary Henge no Jutsu - And academy type jutsu which allows a person to shapeshift into an animal, a plant or another person. Type: Supplimentary Kawarimi no Jutsu - This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack. Type: Supplimentary Nawanuke no Jutsu - This jutsu allows a ninja to free themselves if they have been tied up. Type: Supplementary D-rank: Genin level Suiton: Gogyou Shinkirou no Jutsu - creates a mirage using water. Type: Supplementary, Defense Hyouton: Yuki Bunshin no Jutsu – Creates a clone using snow. Type: Supplementary Hyouton: Koori Suishou Doku no Jutsu - can produce shards of ice that can be very poisonous. Type: Attack Kage Nise no Jutsu - Creates other people's duplicates using shadows. Type: Supplementary Kinobori no Waza – Concentrating Chakra to the feet which allows the user to climb trees easily. Type: Supplementary Suimen Hokou no Waza – A variation of Kinobori no Waza, the user concentrates an even amount of chakra to the feet allowing for smooth steps, runs and strides on water surfaces. Type: Supplementary C-rank: Chuunin level Kuchiyose no Jutsu - A summoning technique which enables her to summon an animal of her choice that she had made a contract with. In Kiomi's case, snakes. Type: Attack, Defense, Supplementary Kuchiyose: Hebi Koori no Jutsu - produces a massive amount of ice serpents which is as lethal as the real thing. Type: Attack, Supplementary Hyouton: Ken tou no Jutsu - A jutsu that produces blades of ice and melts only with large amounts of heat. The only problem is, when she is low on chakra, it also melts. Type: Attack Hyouton: Kanmon meimei no jutsu - an invisible barrier of ice that can be put up at any given time as long as the user wields it. Type: Defense B-rank: Jounin Level Hyouton: Koori Taihou no Jutsu - Ninjutsu technique where the chakra is concentrated to the mouth. Much like Katon, the chakra is released through the mouth and is guided by fingers acting as a sort of direction, and instead of fire, produces ice. Type: Attack Hyouton: Koodori Doku Ken no Hi enables her to create multiple swords made out of poisoned ice. She is able to manipulate it in anyway way that she'd like that when she moves it would seem as if she was merely dancing along with the blades. Type: Attack, Defense Hyouton: Mokuhen Doku no Jutsu – Shards of ice integrated with poison giving it a very dark purple lustered appearance. Higher level variation of Koori Suishou Doku no Jutsu. More potency, venom wise. Type: Attack A-rank: Jounin level Hyouton: Gyoukuten no Jutsu – Concentrates chakra towards an object or a person in order to trap them in ice. Requires massive amounts of concentration and chakra, and chakra manipulation. Type: Attack S-rank: High Level Jutsu Hyouton: Koori Bakudan Kasui Gokusha no Jutsu – An S-rank jutsu that needs massive amounts of chakra, chakra control and chakra manipulation. The user manipulates ice to form a shell like prison which is lined with small shards of ice on the inside, once the shell has closed on the enemy, the spikes of ice which is infused with certain amounts of chakra will detonate and explode.
