About me:

Oriental Dance Artist - passionate performer, dedicated instructor, and dynamic choreographer. - My dance style is mainly influenced by Egyptian Raks Sharki (classical & modern) and folkloric. I also enjoy incorporating elements of American Cabaret, fantasy fusion and humor into my performances. - My goal as an Oriental Dance artist is to represent the beauty of belly dance with dignity, elegance and ethics; to portray and teach the dance as a respected cultural art form. - I have been known to "break the rules" once in awhile incorporating parody and comedy as a way to "break the ice" with audiences new to belly dance. These performances are done at appropriate venues such as Fringe Festivals and Themed shows. - My biggest thrill is when students and audience members "get" what I do and enjoy it.
