So much to choose from... I love great songwriters (Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Lennon/McCartney), great bands (Who, Stones, Led Zeppelin, Police, Doors), and every genre from reggae to metal to pop to prog to classical to country and beyond.
Television
I've become one of those weird people who don't watch TV. However, in watching some shows along with my son, I absolutely enjoy the hell out of a Nickelodeon show called Avatar: The Last Airbender. I highly recommend it to people of all ages.
Books
Recent: Death by Black Hole by Neil deGrasse Tyson. If you have any interest in the origins and fate of Earth and the rest of the universe, this book explains the concepts of astrophysics in a fun way. No, really!
