About me:

First of all people call me Zakia; well because that’s my name. I may seem pretty reclusive, but I am at the same time kicking rad too. If you don't know me, just believe what you take notice of. Because it's all true.

This ain't no hobby nor it is a new career of mine, but I have actually written a song. It was a midnight emo rush which had me grabbing the guitar by the neck and started strumming random chords. The words were magical; it started flowing; fitting themselves in the lines as I was plainly humming to the tune. With help from gorgeous loving people, they made this song wonderful! Here, have a listen ;)


At times, most of the time, waaark! scratch that; I think I meant... ALL the time lol, I am weird and its true. I'd like to be insanely obvious without a care.

Nuff said. Anything else you would like to know- feel free to ask.

It is the little things, that I know, that make big things happen; thus, me would be more than glad to meet someone, but basically, anyone.

    Sorry Zakia, I was reading another comment as I was writing you and I think I wrote the wrong name, my mistake. To answer your question, the band is doing great! We go on the road tomorrow to perform our last shows to be played in 2009. After that we hope to start our 2010 spring tour in March. We hope to have a very busy year coming up.

    Hey Zakia,

    Haha.. thanks for checking back. We haven't been really active cos of the production of the album. But its all well and good. Really hope to get it out by February, March latest. There's been many delays (we had planned for it to be launched last yr!), but none of it is due to us slacking. We have just been busy finetuning the tracks and making sure it sounds comparable to any CD anyone can buy out there. Be sure to let you be one of the first to know once its out. Also, look out for our album website http://www. frankelavenue. com. (Fiq's been really busy with this... hehe) It will be launched definitely by the end of this month!

    Hey.. sorry it took so long for me to reply. The band has 5 pple and all of us log on to myspace... so when each presumes the others will reply... nuthing gets done!!! :P

    We didn't win it. The band that won was a new local rap/rock act, Ill Sound Chronic. But we had a great experience playing! And plus we got apporached by a dj and a record label manager so that's cool.

    Hope u're doing fine in sch and all.. do update us!
