Zak Waters, a 24-year-old multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter, is quickly gaining traction in the Pop world. Zak Waters credits an array of influences ranging from Tower of Power and Earth Wind Fire to Jamiroquai, Justice and Daft Punk, whose sounds prove to be key ingredients in all of his creations. Currently writing and finishing his album, Zak's arsenal of talents and charisma shine through his infectious and combustible songs that are sure to get your body moving. No stranger to the road or the music business, Zak began his career by fronting Universal/Motown's Pop/Rock group, Blueskyreality. After establishing a dedicated fan base, completing a rigorous tour schedule and consistently writing, Zak set his sights on a solo career. In 2010 he signed a worldwide publishing agreement with Blue Hamilton (Katy Perry, Michelle Branch, Fernando Garibay) at Warner/Chappell Music. A year filled with collaborations and co-writes are proving to enhance and diversify his contagious sound. With his debut album on the way, 2011 is poised to be a successful year for Zak Waters, a star to keep an eye on. -
