About me: We love to bellydance!
We are a group called Zaleekhah and we have been together now for 4 years and are best mates.
In no particular order we are: Julia, Julie, Maxine, Gemma, Rosie, Mary and myself (Suzanne). Mary and Rosie are the newest members but are old friends from when we all met 6 years ago at a class in Belper. We dance as a 'tribe' as well as solos and our style is mixed/fusion/confused (I've heard us described as Tribaret) and we all have our particular favourite styles of dance which creep into our choreographies.
We've met some amazing people and made some fantastic friends and done a lot of fundraising for national and local charities.
We also love burlesque dance and style and would love to have a go at burlesque performance and we also keep threatening to have a go at pole dancing just for the hell of it...

Tribal Gothic Belly Dance - Poi, Veil, Middle Eastern Dance. Teaching Classes to Beginners and Improvers. And hosting workshops.
We also do performances, haflas, stage performances with rock bands, plus video.

I know I think it is so sad. But the tribe decidet to make me there teacher so Rositsa (my teacher) is going to teach me all she knows until she leaves this fall... Pls. send me links and titles of good DVD's to learn from if you can :)
We are also going to try to save up some money to get workshops to Iceland and to go to workshops somewere in the world.... Who cares if we are only 7 who do Tribal in Iceland :)
The date is going verry well. We have been dating for 1 and a half month and he is absolutly great.
But I have bad news. My tribal teacher is mooving back to Bulgaria and there is no other tribe in Iceland. I'm thinking about teaching but I don't know how. I have only been dancing for 2 years now but I don't want tribal to die here....
