Zama Zama Valentine origins can be traced back to shambling backroom sessions in the Chain Locker public house in Falmouth, Cornwall. Most of the members of the band having idiotically been drawn to Falmouth to study at the prestigous College of Arts. However, after hearing the immortal words "Here's your 2.1, now piss off you scrounging student weirdo", an unadvised love affair with the opposing poles of melody and noise, of ethnicity and the post-modern buffet spread, began. "Hello? Is that Louis Walsh?"
