Influences
I like to think of myself as a chameleon. I have worked very hard so as to disassemble my boundaries within musical styles. The styles that are most prevalent in my playing are jazz and country but as I said I do everything else.
Zander Wyatt received his Bachelor of Music degree in Commercial Music with a Composition Emphasis from Belmont University. He has been playing music most of his life playing everything from jazz to classical to rock. Zander has been grateful to have received the opportunities to play with many great musicians including Peter Hyrka, Dave Webb, Derek Pell, Billy Contreres, Cosmic America, Sticky Fingers, Chelsee Oaks, Ocean Street, Bob Bowers, Craig Duncan, Rasaan Barber, Brad Barrett, Bernard Lackner, Ginny Mack, Rich Brinsfield, Rory Hoffman, and the list goes on… He’s very friendly and easy-going and he hopes to ignite his students’ interest in guitar and music theory, as well as to inspire them with his love of music.
