About Zapiens

Zapiens grubu 2008 yılında iki arkadaş Orkhan Kerimov ve Memmedşakir Memmedzade tarafından İstanbulda kuruldu. Grup ismi Rus yazar Viktor Pelevin’in Homo Zapiens kitabından alınmıştır. Orkhan Kerimov’un gruptan ayrılmasından sonra çalışmalara bir süre ara verildi. Şimdi yenilenen kadrosuyla eski besteler ve yeni coverlarla tekrar aranızda…

We greatly appreciate your empathy and support in these truly tragic days for our country. We brought the warmth of your hearts back to Georgia and shared it with all of our friends here. You are doing great job! You made it possible for all of us to join our voices with yours against war, violence and aggression. We believe, some day the love and peace we all generated and shared with each other at the festival will reach out to every country and nation in the world. You were great!!! We hope to come to Turkey again and share our music with all our Turkish friends. YOU ROCK! P.S. We hoped to hand out our new album “FanX” at the festival. Unfortunately our bag with discs was stolen. Anyway the discs are in Istanbul and you still have a chance to get them. Good luck! ))
