A new small label which aims to recreate the model of original post-punk highly creative labels like Fast Product and New Hormones. We will have a roster of about 4 or 5 bands only. The main objective of the label is to get bands - bands that need and deserve it - some attention. If these bands then go on to sign to 'proper' labels, then so be it. Our job is then done. We don't have the machinery or wherewithall of large labels. In fact, another objective is to not do too much at all, really: get records out, promote them a bit and see what happens. No contracts, no PR dept, No press dept, no particular effort at all. The sooner we can get things done, the sooner we can get down to the pub; which is after all, where all the real business and creativity happens.
And already the model has proven to be one that works: Die! Die! Die!, who's single, Ashtray! Ashtray! was our first release, have now gone on to greater success, playing South by South West and releasing their album in the UK, now signed to a bigger label. They return to the UK in May 07 for what is expected to be the usual series of blistering gigs.

Hello! Been trying to send you a message but MySpace is being silly. Gah! Sorry we couldn't do that 19th Nov, the one day of the year that Laura couldn't make (and she's the most irreplaceable!) Bah.
We're booking now for 2007 though, got one or two specific dates we could do in Jan/Feb, if not then we're looking at May onwards :)
