Influences
As most trance artists in portugal Zaraus was Highly influenced by the good old trance partys in Portugal when psy partys where not infected with regressive music, and only played true goa fast and foward music...
Some names ... phyx, clock wise, shift, menog, Matt V, man with no name, Kox box, green ohms, cydonia, paul taylor, Dick trevor, dino psaraz, green nuns of the revolution, dickster, eat static, old infected, old skazi, old gms, old astrix and many many others....

Here is a sneak preview of my album released on september 2009 on ONE FOOT GROOVE RECORDS
After getting musical experience on a Ska Band called Skambalhota where both Pedro Oliveira (Drums) and Sergio Loren (Vocalist) performed for 2 years. They decide to create something new using the new tools provided to them by technology.
So in 1999 Zaraus was created. In the beginning it was a two man creation, but since 2001 Pedro Oliveira as assumed controls and delivered new horizons to this promising project.
Joining Sub-Atomic in England has a major step in that direction, earning him performances in countries like, France (Anthares R.I.P, Magic Mystery, Neotek Spirits), England (666, Ilumenaughty, D.m.t ) , Scotland (Sub-Atomic), Amsterdam, Spain (Changeling Festival).
That led to the some of the world’s biggest events like 4 editions of Universo Paralello, Transformation, Psycake, Groove4nation, Sinergia Festival 2007 e Boom Festival 2008.
In 2009 Zaraus joined One Foot Groove Records from South Africa.
His first album is scheduled to be released on the 13th of June...
Tours in Portugal (June and end of August), Brazil (July to mid August) and at the end of the year South Africa and Mexico follow the album launch!!
One of the most travelled and experienced producers on the Portuguese trance scene.
