About me:
The Zarraffa’s Coffee empire was borne in 1996 with the assistance of a $9000 personal loan and an ex-Telstra delivery van wrapped in Zarraffa’s Coffee livery.
Operating from an obscure Southport backstreet, Zarraffa’s Coffee started as a roaster and wholesaler of imported coffee to various cafes and restaurants on the Gold Coast.
Since the first Zarraffa’s Coffee retail store opened in 1997 at Australia Fair in Southport, Zarraffa’s Coffee has grown by a massive 59.10%, with 33 stores throughout Queensland and Sydney.
Today, Zarraffa’s Coffee is a specialty coffee retailer, wholesaler, roaster and franchisor that employs over 200 staff and generated $9.8 million in revenue over the past twelve months.
Zarraffa’s Coffee has been awarded a number of accolades from the Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards, including the ‘wholesale, retail and distribution’ division for three consecutive years, the inaugural ‘Bob Scott Encouragement Award’in 2006 and more recently the award for Gold Coast Business of the Year. An achievement Zarraffa’s is extremely proud of.
