Boondock Saint's Interests
|
| General | Well if I said I was interested in just about everything, I wouldn't be lying. I like pretty much all sports (playing and watching) but I have definitely crossed the line into full time rock climber and part time everything else. As a graphic Desinger I ejoy cg and graphic arts, photography, drawing and painting. Plaing guitar. Let's what else ... I love snow and skiing. Camping and just being outside and and boating in the summer. Love watching a good movie. Love to hang out with friends, kick back and have a good time. | | Music | I can listen to pretty much anything but I'not not a huge fan of most new-age rap and new country. I do like old school dirt rock such as CCR, Skynyrd, Hendrix, Doors, Beatles, etc. Also newer bands like Radiohead, Coldplay, NIN, Sublime, Nirvana, RHCP, etc. | | Movies | - The Boondock Saints

I try to keep up with Smallville but it doesn't work so well. | | Books | Stephen King's Dark Tower series, William Gibson's Patten Recognition and Neuromancer, George R.R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire series. Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth is one of the best books I ever read along with Tim O'Brien's The Things They Carried. Chuck Palahniuk's Diary was recently recommended to me and it is excellent. Michael Crichton's stuff ... let's see what else ... Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code and Angels and Deamons - both books were pretty standard but fun reading anyway. Let us not forget all the classics by Orwell, Huxley, Sallinger, Golding and etc. Someone recommended Orson Card's Ender's Game to me. Excellent book. I've been caught up in reading all the sequels now. | | Heroes | My mom and my dad - best two people I ever knew!! Other heroes are The Boondock Saints, Superman and Linus Torvalds (Guy who wrote the Linux Kernel) |

Boondock Saint's Blurbs |
About me:
Where do I begin? Well let's start at the begining. I was born in Bosnia. Life was good, for a while anyway. In the early 90s a war broke out in my country because people from Serbia (now known as Yugoslavia) wanted the whole country to themselves. Thousands of people were executed and tortured to death in concentration and rape camps around the country. The biggest one was next to my town and was the graveyard to about 30,000 innocent people. At age 11 I escaped from the war with my family and two suitcases to Croatia 2 days before Christmas. This is also where I "celebrated" my 12th birthday without cake or any food for that matter. We were so poor, we nearly starved to death.
Just as our luck was running out, a German politician took action and started a foster family program through which my mom, sister and I were shipped off to Germany to live with a family. We later found my dad who had taken a different route to Germany. Within a few years, life was good. Then in 98 we were more or less forced to move again (bunch of political bullshit I don't feel like explaining. If you care, just ask). We were resettled to America and had to start from 0 again.
That is where one life's story ends and another begins. There is too much to tell so just try to keep up.
