Z Company Dance combines innovative and complex performance with an eclectic selection of music genres, executed by a unique group of young dancers. Passion, motivation and movement are part of the foundation Z Company work displays. With legendary funk artist Bootsy Collins, Z Company Dance has performed with the Cincinnati Pops and Jennifer Holliday at Riverbend Music Center (“Dreamgirls”). Z Company Dance is also featured in videos created by Bootsy Collin’s for the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals. The company has been part of the entertainment for recent Bootsy Collins CD release parties. Members of Z Company Dance have also performed both on and off Broadway as part of national touring companies and international competition in Italy. Through intense training, Z Company Dance continues to ‘Push the envelope’, challenging both performer and audience by examining contemporary issues through the art of dance.
