Evolution, electricity, hands, modern life, ecology. Shit bands make us angry, but inspire us not to be fuckwits. Good bands fill us with love, but make us realise that we need to practice more...

"Modern music is people who can't think, signing artists who can't write songs, to make records for people who can't hear." - Frank Zappa
"...For those of you that don’t know this band, lets straighten some things out;
Firstly, you’re missing out on a lot. They’re a fucking revelation in musical terms, people often try to tell me that they sound like a whole bunch of ‘Grunge’ and ‘Punk’ bands from the 1990’s (honestly i’m sick of hearing this comparison all the time, you lazy fucks, about any bands, seriously, how about trying to live in the now and not make out that the past was so much better than the present, ’cause it really wasn’t and you probably were either too young or too wasted to actually remember!), but I really can only hear Zeahorse when ever i see them play live or listen to their recordings. It’s a total journey, from start to finish, great song writers, impeccable players, brutally heavy and beautifully melodic all washed in a psychedelic fog, reminiscent of dropping acid at seven in the morning and wandering around a forest..."

“.......The first highlight of the day were Zeahorse (who I first saw at last year's My Filthy Riot). This wasn't some genre exercise – this was pure ROCK in all its screamy grungy garagy punk glory. The lead singer was awesome and the energy was off the charts.....”
My Filthy Riot Festival 21st March, Annandale Hotel by Chritian Brimo - liveguide.com.au 24/03/09
“....no doubt fans of Fugazi, Zeahorse revived “real punk” the tightest of anyone in a while. Big chords shone through the alternative punk, possibly nailing the performance of the day.....”

"....young quartet Zeahorse proved to be one of the days highlights. The band built dark, heady noisescapes with only intermittent vocals. The strength of the songs were without question and more than made up for the rawness of the singers voice."
