Band MembersSongs for the People LET me make the songs for the people, Songs for the old and young; Songs to stir like a battle-cry Wherever they are sung. Not for the clashing of sabres, For carnage nor for strife; But songs to thrill the hearts of human With more abundant life. Let me make the songs for the weary, Amid life's fever and fret, Till hearts shall relax their tension, And careworn brows forget. Let me sing for little children, Before their footsteps stray, Sweet anthems of love and duty, To float o'er life's highway. I would sing for the poor and caged, When injustice dim their sight; For the LGBTQ, and the keepers of age We rage, and love, to save, together we fight Our world, so warn and weary, Needs music, pure and strong, To hush the jangle and discords Of sorrow, pain, and wrong. Music to soothe all its sorrow, Till war and crime shall cease; And the hearts of human grown tender Girdle the world with peace.
InfluencesThe masses and you. Those who lived and died to change reality, to construct an alternative. Those living now willing to fight for change or visualize an alternative. The dub poets, the MCs, the spoken word poets, the written word, ryhme and cadence, prose, rants, love, affection, solidarity, fresh fruit and vegetables, brown rice, legumes, green leaves like kale, collards, mustard, and chards, my parents and ancestors, idealists, and people who balance a sense of humor and the suffering of the Earth and peoples while not going completely mad.

Charles Dickens began pasting labels on blaking pots. The tragedy of his first love penetrated the depths of his soul, and converted him into one of the world's truly great authors. That tragedy produced, first, David Copperfield, then a succession of other works that made this a richer and better world for all who read his books. Dissappointment over love affairs, generally has the effect of driving men to drink, and women to ruin; and this because most people never never learn the art of transmuting their strongest emotions into dreams of a constructive nature.

the newspaper is my motivation. it was written. i cut out stuff and add it to my inventory. The Pope went to Africa. He said condoms wont solve the Aids in africa. He's right condoms alone wont do anything!!!. We need to drop the Chronic on Africa. Re-release it. African edition. and make it go 10 times Platinum. That will solve it.

I love St. Pete. Its so much more beautiful than Tampa. It has some really great venues, don't you think. I wish i could spend more time over there. If you are back in the bay area again someday doing a gig or whatever give me a heads up. I'm honored you even thought about meeting.
Keep on keepin' on, brother.
