punk (from when it really was punk), AC/DC (partial to Bon Scott), "alternative" (laughable, cause it's mainstream now), all kindza stuff, even klezmer, nick cave, and hank williams. I have been to over 500 concerts in my life. simple, beautiful and brilliant: Radiohead performing "Nude" (also known as "Big Ideas") in Amsterdam.
Movies
I love movies and have seen thousands. My favorite is Bernardo Bertolucci's "The Last Emperor". Others I liked include: Bladerunner, Se7en, Usual Suspects, In the Company of Men, Gummo, Happiness....I like things that surprise me and don't necessarily have a happy ending.
Television
I LOVE "OZ". The Simpsons are good, as is Law and Order. I also enjoy "Queer as Folk", reminds me of my gay disco days (my best friend was gay).
Books
i dislike poetry in general, but i love Leonard Cohen mostly because it's not so much poetry to me as just a conversation about life.

How's everything with you? The funeral was cool (that sounds sooo bad), and the final song after the service when everyone goes up and pays their final respects was "Oh Happy Day!" - beautiful, IMO. Take Care! And play nice! :)
