Fondé à l'automne 2004 par Matéo et JP Lejeune, Zebrick intègre Jim à la batterie à l'hiver 2005. Un démo de 2 chansons est enregistré au printemps, contenant entre autre une reprise du groupe français Mickey 3D. Puis, à l'hiver 2006, Zebrick entre en studio pour enregistrer son premier album. Le processus est long, mais un mini album promotionnel intitulé «Nos Visages Cachés» fini par sortir. Le mini album sort le 3 novembre 2006. Il est distribué lors des spectalces et dans certains magasins indépendants. Le EP remporte un succès dans les radios indépendantes, avec plus de 40 TOP 10!!!
Le premier album complet sort le 26 juillet!! Il s'appelle «Parlez moins, Chantez plus». Confectionné de façon complettement indépendante, il se mérite plusieurs place dans le top 100 BDS des radios du Québec. Merci à toutes les radios, tous les bands, tous les bars qui nous permettent d'avoir la plus grande joie au monde, faire de la musique!

Now The Stiff Wires are bring their brand of Punk/Power Pop to 3 Minots in Montreal on Thursday November 26th for their second to last stop on their Toxic Moose Tour with their tour partners the Angst Ridden Acoustic Punk Duo The Bag Ladies. The show starts at 8:00pm and takes place at 3 Minots @ 3812 St.Laurent Blvd. / rue des Pins. They will be joined by Montreals own Acoustic performer and singer Kirsty Wright, and Ska band Sounds Alright! The Stiff Wires are also the first band of their kind to be featured on the hit MuchMusic show disBAND for this years season 2.
