About me: Hello. My name is Zeb. I wait tables. I don't want to be waiting tables in three years. I'd rather not be waiting tables tomorrow night, but I'd also rather not be evicted, and have my car taken away. I took a few years off of school to work in publishing. Now I'm going back to school, so I can publish, and teach how to publish. I type words on a keyboard sometimes. Sometimes I print those words, and mail them. I watch movies. I hang out with Jessica. I rollerblade, sometimes. I like people. They interest, and amuse me. So do dogs sometimes. Especially close up, with a wide angle lens. I like to laugh, especially at awkward moments. Wait. No, I don't like that, I just do it a lot. I like getting caught in the rain. Except at sea. I've never been at sea. I sometimes like pina coladas, but prefer Kamikazes. I like the term "Second Drink" for the ice melting in a first drink. I like the bartender at the Rainforest Cafe who gave Jessica and I a free third drink because our sidecar of 99 bananas was so expensive. That was cool of him. I like ill thought out adventures, and late night escapades that can in no way turn out well. I need glasses. I am lazy, but get excited about random things, and can't sleep til they're done. I have written two books only a small handful of people will ever read. The term handful of people is subjective. I guess I mean a handful of names typed out on paper. Otherwise you can only have one person in each hand. That's just silly.
Who I'd like to meet: Kurt Vonnegut, Charlie Kaufman, Stephen Dunn, Dave Eggers, Seth MacFarlane, Matt and Trey, the guy who's gonna buy my novel and make me rich, or the guy who will buy my sitcom, or hire me to do a job that involves writing, but not food orders, the people in The Office, Stephen Wright, and um... how about... Elija Wood. He seems like a cool cat.
Hi Sir Zebulon, Where does that name come from? Anyway, thanks for the add. You sound like an interesting person and one of the rare romantics. ;-) Hope you can check out my books if you get a chance.
Cheers, Caitlin Rother Author of Twisted Triangle, Naked Addiction and Poisoned Love (Body Parts to come out in March)
Nice, excellent choice on quotes. Twas Milhouse if I'm not mistaken, after his kissing buddy was shipped off to an all girl school. OK, here is one: Homer-Marge, I'm bored! Marge-Why don't you try reading? Homer-Because I'm trying to REDUCE my boredom! here is a little trivia too: What name did Moe's change to when they tried to become a family resaurant?
OK, here's another one: Troy McClure is starring in the musical "Stop the Planet of the Apes, I Wanna Get Off" and he sings: "...I hate every single ape I see, from chimpan-A to chimpanzee..." Then Dr. Saiz starts breakdancing. Classic. OK, now you reference an episode!
