October 7th Local Actions on the Anniversary of the Afghanistan Invasion
This week the New York Times said the "Antiwar Movement Plans an Autumn Campaign Against Policies on Afghanistan." They are damn right!
They also said, "United for Peace and Justice are also planning smaller events in communities around the country, including teach-ins with veterans and families of deployed troops, lobbying sessions with members of Congress, film screenings and ad hoc memorials featuring the boots of deceased soldiers and Marines."
And that's exactly what we hope that your group is doing! Our goal is to have events in every community possible around the anniversary of the invasion of Afghanistan (October 7th). I believe alot of our weakness as a revolutionist movement is the fact we are all so separated...so i propose that we all take a daring and rather large connecting step...by exchanging actual phone numbers....to further the spread of information and places to find it via text messages or other means if necessary. Etymologie [Bearbeiten]
Die Bezeichnung Google basiert auf einem Wortspiel (manche Quellen sprechen auch von einem Rechtschreibfehler) mit der amerikanischen Aussprache des Wortes googol.[2] Milton Sirotta, der Neffe des US-amerikanischen Mathematikers Edward Kasner, hatte den Ausdruck im Jahr 1938 erfunden, um der Zahl mit einer Eins und hundert Nullen (10100) einen Namen zu geben. Die Google-Gründer wiederum suchten eine treffende Bezeichnung für die Fülle an Informationen, die ihre Suchmaschine im Web finden sollte.[3]

Zeitgeist ist ein von Peter Joseph produzierter Dokumentarfilm, der sich mit mehreren Verschwörungstheorien rund um das Christentum, die Anschläge vom 11. September 2001, und der Verbindung zwischen Hochfinanz und Kriegswirtschaft beschäftigt. Der Film wurde im Juni 2007 kostenlos über Google Video[1], sowie auf DVD veröffentlicht. Mit 70.000 Downloads pro Tag ist Zeitgeist innerhalb kurzer Zeit zu einem der erfolgreichsten Internet-Filme geworden.[2]
Am 2. Oktober 2008 erschien unter dem Titel Zeitgeist: Addendum eine ebenfalls von Peter Joseph gedrehte Fortsetzung des Films, in welchem noch detaillierter auf die Finanzwirtschaft und das Bankensystem eingegangen wird.[3]
